Remarks & Notes
Speeding weary commuters home to Long Beach, Los Angeles Metropolitan Transit Agency P2000 Light Rail Vehicle (LRV) 244, built in 1996-1999 by Siemens Mobility, will shortly make a stop at the Willow Street station and, from there, will begin street running down Long Beach Boulevard to downtown Long Beach. It may be dark, but it is only 17:01 (5:01 pm). This is LAMTA’s Blue Line, but in another five years it will be renamed the A Line. And in June 2023, this line, the first in LAMTA’s system, would be expanded to Azusa, for a total of 48½ miles, making it the longest light rail line in the world. (Long Beach, California – December 5, 2014)

Pace and pan shots of trains from on the ground or in the air. If you're not in the locomotive cab or on-board the train, it's the next best thing to being there.

A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
