BN 1726 leads a quartet of GP9/18s waiting for the North Coast Hiawatha to leave Livingston for Butte which it will follow with the daily freight. All units were NP, the 4th, BN 1998 was a GP18. That unit was retired in 12/78 after wreck damage, the first GP18 to leave the BN roster.
