| Backing down to run around its train is Strasburg Railroad 2-6-0 89. This Mogul was built by Canadian Locomotive Company in February 1910 as Grand Trunk 1009. It was later renumbered GT 911, and that number carried over when the GT was absorbed into the Canadian National. CN 911 was renumbered CN 89, and was eventually sold to Green Mountain Railroad (as GMRC 89) before ending up in the collection at Strasburg. (July 2, 2009) |
