Remarks & Notes
The locomotive the River Mite belongs to the Ravenglass and Eskdale railway, a narrow gauge line in the Lake District. It was built in York and made history by being delivered to the railway by means of a traction engine. When this locomotive visited Beamish museum several years ago, the opportunity was taken to reenact this event.

A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
