Remarks & Notes
Just Turn And Go. Taking advantage of a solution to a cab signal failure in a cab car that is available in Danbury, Connecticut, MTA Metro-North Railroad Train 1831 was looped and traveled "backwards" from the traditional MNR presentation with its locomotive (MNCW 230, P32AC-DM, New Haven Tribute/Penn Central Logo) facing geographically south towards Grand Central Terminal on Tuesday, December 26, 2023. It is seen passing under the route indicator mounted on the former New York Central signal bridge near CP 112 in the Bronx, New York on track 1, with the LED light on track 3 displaying a New Haven Line routing for the next train.
