Conrail EMD GP40-2 No. 3378 leads an eastbound CR freight out of Gallitzin Tunnel at Gallitzin, Pennsylvania, on October 23, 1988. In 1995, the Gallitzin Tunnel was abandoned in favor of an adjoining, enlarged, double track Allegheny Tunnel.
