City Subway.
NJ Transit 3 section LRV no. 116 (Kinki Sharyo, 1999-2004) is seen arriving at Washington St Station on the Newark Light Rail, formerly known as the Newark City Subway. The subway opened in 1935 and is a "subway-surface" line, running underground from Newark Penn Station to Warren St Station, then mostly grade separated on the surface to Grove St - there are four grade crossings along the route.
