Remarks & Notes |
A very colorful train of the Rhaetian Railway runs over the 6.0 grade through numerous curves of the Chur-Arosa line between Peist and Langwies. The new designed ancestor train (heritage livery "Ahnenzug") "Allegra" ABe 8/12 # 3514 is the very first day in service on this line, which was taken over by the Rhaetian Railway in 1942. First car is in the yellow colors of the former independent Bernina Railway, which was taken over by the RhB in 1943. Second car has the green/cream colors of the RhB at that time. And third car is in the lightblue/lightgrey of the former Chur-Arosa Bahn (ChA), which was inaugurated in 1914 with 2400 V DC and taken over by the RhB in 1942. This is the push-pull train 1429 of the line R16 from Chur to Arosa. |
