| UP 7883 leads a Twin Cities to Superior (Itasca Yard) manifest across a trestle over Bluff Creek at Ambridge, just south of Superior, WI. The 6 car train is amply powered and reflects UP's diminutive position in competing for head of the lakes rail traffic. UP uses trackage rights on BNSF & CN to reach the Twin Ports. This bridge is part of CN's Superior-Chicago mainline, formerly part of the Interstate Branch of the DM&IR Ry. |
