BN 3001, former CBQ GP40 no. 171, built December 1966, mates up with a GP30 and U25B at the former Burlington roundhouse area at North La Crosse, WI, the first crew change on BN east of St. Paul/Minneapolis. These early repaints kept their working Mars lights for several years after the 1970 BN merger. Note the steam era MOW car in the background.
