| UP local L12 led by UP 1938 climbs the grade up Hudson hill after crossing the St. Croix River. The train is returning to Altoona after switching Bayport, MN. This location is Sono Junction, and the foreground track is a short spur that once was C&NW's main route from the Twin Cities to Spooner, Ashland & Duluth-Superior. |
