Remarks & Notes
How many men does it take to wash a 567 engine? BN 6110's engine gets a bath at Belknap St. Yard in Superior, WI, July 1973. Superior was once a location of major locomotive shops for the Great Northern, and into the BN era still did major maintenance work on power assigned to the east end of the railroad, including repainting. Most of the facilities are now gone or repurposed for other uses.
