UP 1938 & 1820, SD40-2s, lead local L83 across the Eau Claire River bridge between Eau Claire & Altoona as the train approaches Altoona Yard to tie up. This local operates Monday, Wednesday & Friday at the time of this photo, serving interchange with Wisconsin Northern at Chippewa Falls (Norma) as well as switching northside industries in Eau Claire.
