Back again... After having visited this spot during the onset of spring in April 2021 as seen in this perspective, it was nice to return to Marmet in October 2023 to watch eastbound grain loads head for Hinton, W.Va., during the region's peak fall color weekend. Can you imagine how many falls the historic church has seen in the background, and the countless paint schemes of CSX and its predecessor railroads.
