Handling a train of gondolas is Providence & Worcester GP38 2011. Built as Penn Central 7794 by EMD in October 1969 (54 years earlier), this locomotive became Conrail 7794 when that railroad was created (and included PC in its creation) in 1976. CR later sold it to PW, where it initially retained its number (as PW 7794) before getting renumbered, as seen here. (Middletown, Connecticut – October 18, 2023)
