Another winter night is fast approaching as BNSF GE C44-9W No. 4948 leads an eastbound welded rail train toward Trout Creek, Montana. Fog is layering over the mountains and through the trees, with some briefly illuminated by No. 4948’s headlights as it rolls through the curve just east of milepost 57 on February 5, 2016.
