The Sun Is Setting On Its Time In The US. Canadian National Railway Company 6714 (Z-1-a, GE, 1917) spent over 75 years serving commuters in Montreal, Quebec on the Deux-Montagnes Line before being retired in 1995 and acquired by the Connecticut Trolley Museum. On Tuesday, October 3, 2023, it was announced that a deal had been worked out to send the veteran electric unit to Halton County Radial Railway. Three other examples are preserved: one each by Exporail, the City of Deux-Montagnes, Quebec, and the Canada Science and Technology Museum.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
