Rainy Day In The Bronx. On September 26, 2023, Amtrak's Alstom Acela II Train Set 6 (AMTK 2111/2112) made the trip from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Boston, Massachusetts as Train 844(26) during the day. The train is going to Boston for crew familiarization and other training as the Acela II program continues to develop. The Acela II program will ultimately deliver 28 high speed train sets to Amtrak. The train its been approaching Longwood Avenue in the Bronx, New York next to the CSX Oak Point Yard.
