Remarks & Notes
A rainy day look back through time... Amtrak's Chicago bound Southwest Chief No. 4 barrels through Colmor, passing a pair of westbound-facing Santa Fe semaphores under ugly skies. Torrential rain would accompany No. 4 for much of the climb into Raton during 2018's monsoon season.

Landscape photography is difficult due to the challenge of combining good light and good scenery. Good railroad photography enters another level of complexity since it requires the first two while there is a train in view.

For the train and storm chaser. Trains with thunderstorms, dark clouds, rain, lightning, hurricanes - tropical storms, funnel clouds, storm light, rainbows, and snow storms.
