Cogwheel train of the "Petit Train de la Rhune" (La Rhune railway) with locomotive He 2/2 # 5 and cars # 10 and # 9 is running down the mountain at about 8 km/h. The line was opened in 1924, the vehicles were delivered in 1914 already. But cars # 9 and # 10 were built new in 1996 to the old plans, on frames bought from the Luchon-Superbagnères railway in 1979. The 1 meter gauge cogwheel railway to the La Rhune mountain has the Strub rack system and is running with 3000 V 50 Hz triphase current.
