| With a 16:00 departure from Laurel, this Laurel to Bozeman local is pretty popular chase on the MRL 2nd Sub. Back in May 2002 the job has a green signal at West Rapids so the engineer pours on the coals. Unfortunately it would be short lived as the 1st 100 miles of the trip would be slow as they followed a lumbering grain train and made meet after meet. The job usually makes great time, but today they wouldn't see Livingston (100 miles) before dark. |
