Center Stage.
New York City Transit Authority (NYCTA) R1 no. 381 (ACF, 1930-1931) is seen arriving at Brighton Beach Station on the BMT Brighton Line, arriving in the opposite direction on the Manhattan-bound express track. Brighton Beach is the hub of the Parade of Trains, and in the past has been the only station where boarding took place. This year trains also boarded at Kings Hwy, but the crowds remained large at the south end of the event.
