| A warm early November morning finds southbound intermodal train I158 CSXT 7248 and CSXT 3451 as the rear DPU at Highland NY, just south of Auto 72 on the River Subdivision, under the former New Haven Maybrook Line.
Unfortunately track work along this part of the subdivision during the day meant a lull after the morning intermodal rush and some of the usual afternoon manifests would run after dark, making it a challenge to get many of the signature shots from the west side of the tracks.
Two more southbounds would follow this train; L040 and M218 then the track crews would start their day. |
