| Ge 4/4 II # 616 and # 620 of the Rhaetian Railway in multiple control are pulling the freight train 5135 from Landquart freight yard over the Albula line to Pontresina, near the Landwasser viaduct between Alvaneu and Filisur. Locomotive # 616 has a publicity paint scheme for the collection of donations for repair of the steamlocomotive G 3/4 # 1 "Rhätia", very first locomotive of the Rhaetian Railway respectively the predecessor railroad Landquart-Davos in 1889. In the meantime, nearly 1 mio swiss francs were collected. The boiler is in England for repair. |
