| "Allegra" ABe 8/12 # 3509 of the Rhaetian Railway pulls the PE 951 BERNINA EXPRESS with 7 panorama cars from Chur througout to Tirano, changing in Pontresina from 11000 V 16,7 Hz AC to 1000 V DC of the Bernina line. The train is rounding the "Jochum curve" in the Bügliet valley along the Lago Bianco near Ospizio Bernina. The BERNINA EXPRESS from Chur over the Albula and Bernina UNESCO world heritage line to Tirano can celebrate 50 years of operation in 2023. |
