| Helpers were usually added to trains at Farm or at Flat Top Yard, but the grade stiffened here and they really had to put "out their back into it" from here to the top of the grade in downtown Bluefield, West Virginia, as evidenced by the smoke. This is the location of a long gone tower whose base is all that remains. |
