This BNSF train, S-LPKLBE1-11L, originated in Kansas City KS' Logistics Park and is close to wrapping up its run to Long Beach CA. It may be a BNSF Railway train, but three of its four locomotives are foreign (one, literally): Norfolk Southern AC44C6M 4176 (ex-NS Dash 9-44CW 8910) and BNSF Dash 9-44CW 5026 on the headend and, seen here, the rear Distributed Power Units (DPU): Kansas City Southern de México AC4400CW 4541 (ex-TFM 2641) and NS AC44C6M 4036 (ex-NS Dash 9-40C 8768). Usually, BNSF's Q-NYCLAC intermodal train reliably has NS power, but clearly other trains can be found with them as well. (Fullerton, California – July 14, 2023)
