| On Pentecost there was "Rigi Historic XXL Day" and the beautiful weather attracted many people to visit the "Queen of the mountains", the Rigi. Before 5 PM three trains followed another on sight distance running down as CC 164 between Fruttli and Kräbel, with the Mythen mountains in the background. In the foreground as last train cogwheel railcar BDhe 4/4 # 21 with cab car Bt # 31 and yellow car B # 35 built 1899. In the background blue/white railcar BDhe 4/4 # 12 with cab car Bt # 22, brought back in the appearance of the 1960'. And in the station Kräbel is the worldwide oldest operational cogwheel railcar BCFhe 2/3 # 6 (built 1911) with car B # 33 (built 1875). |
