Just before Midnight on June 16th, 2023, "glass out" Amtrak MP15DC 539, shoves a loaded stone train into the siding at Clinton, Connecticut on the Shore Line section of the Northeast Corridor as the last Shore Line East train of the day disappears into the night. Amtrak's MP15DC locomotive fleet continues to run on borrowed time as 36 newly rebuilt EMD GP38-3's purchased from Progress Rail begin to arrive on the property.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
