After spending the night at Utah Junction near Pecos Street, Union Pacific’s Big Boy No. 4014 treads eastward on the Belt Line at Washington Street in Denver, Colorado, on November 26, 2019. To reach the Greeley Subdivision and a northbound trip home to Cheyenne, this backwards move of over 4 miles is being done while most of the Denver area receives over a foot of snow in this pre-Thanksgiving blizzard. Who would ever guess that a UP Big Boy would travel over this former Rio Grande track!
