Norfolk & Western 4-8-4 611 makes its final approach to Esbenshade Road as power for a Strasburg Rail Road train. It will soon be headed back to its owners, the Virginia Museum of Transportation in Roanoke, Virginia, or possibly another home for it to operate. While it was nice to have it a short drive from home, I personally hope that it ends up at a place where it can stretch its legs on the main line at speed. It was a fun time while it was here.
