| Second Rebuild.
Amtrak 798, a model 2GS12B-R built by National Railway Equipment, is seen shuffling around Washington Union Station. This locomotive and its siblings were rebuilt by NRE from SW1000R units, which interestingly had been rebuilt previously by NRE from SW9 locomotives! |
