| April 14th marked day 1 of CPKC operations systemwide. Here, 445 heads over the Crow River in Rockford on an extremely rare sunny afternoon in April. Strange to think the CP I've grown up with in Minnesota technically isn't a thing anymore. I got to know the railroad pretty well growing up with my dad who worked on it during my childhood years. It'll be a while before the change is very noticeable, how soon is anyone's guess, but for now we can still view the CP as it once was, and currently still is (sorta). |
