On January 06, 2023 Rigi Historic presented the shuttle train with the BDhe 2/4 #12 (1949) and the Bt #22 (1958) for the first time with the driving trailer. In the last months, the vehicles have been elaborately restored inside and outside more or less to their delivery condition. The most striking features are the old ARB design with the chrome inscriptions and the comfortable wooden benches inside. The photo shows the shuttle train on its first ascent for the patrons of the Rigi Historic Foundation shortly before the terminus at Rigi Kulm. In the background, Mount Pilatus (2,128 m above sea level) rises out of the sea of fog.
