The standard helper set, a pair of SD40-2s, assist the road power on symbol LMPI climbing the grade above Sugar Run valley between MG and Bennington. Another set of SD40-2s were on the rear end. Snappers on the point were somewhat common as two road units could easily handle most trains along the river grade east of Altoona, but the trip to Gallitzin was a different story. Fuji Provia.
