Remarks & Notes
EDMOND OK Sept 4 1978 — Santa Fe CF7 2472 has charge of Work Train 1. EMD built the unit as F7A 238L in April 1950 in Dream yellow and Blue for freight service. By Dec 31 1976 the Cleburne TX shops rebuilt it as CF7 2472 with a round roof and painted it Yellow Warbonnet. Santa Fe retired it and General Electric acquired it in December 1984. In March 1985 it was sole to The Blue Mountain & Reading RR as BMRG 2472. It was later sold to National Equipment Company and then to IMC Fertilizer which renumberd it to 204. My photo.
