Remarks & Notes
About as close to live as you can get, it's a heavy lift day in Chattanooga. Crews from the Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum (TVRM), FMW Solutions, and local crane operators begin to lift a heavy Pacific onto a flat car for its journey to Pennsylvania. The CN 5288 does not really fit the TVRM collection all that well, and has been donated to the Colebrookdale Railroad in Boyertown, PA. 5288 has only been a display piece at TVRM since being donated by Steamtown in 2001. The Colebrookdale Railroad plans to initially undertake a cosmetic restoration of 5288, with hopes for a possible return to steam at some point in the future. CN 5288 will travel by rail on Norfolk Southern to reach Pennsylvania.
