| With dynamic brake grids needing replacing in Union Pacific GE C44-9W No. 9666, a machinist in UP’s Kansas City Locomotive Facility prepares to perform this maintenance up on the access panels of the locomotive on October 22, 2013. Sometimes the bolts just won’t release after all the time out in the elements, and the only solution is to cut and grind them off. |
