BN F9A no. 818 sits in a roundhouse at all at BN's former Great Northern engine facilities at Harrison St. in Minneapolis, MN. This was an important facility for GN and early BN. This unit was in the smaller section of the original roundhouse, separated from the larger portion, as GN had torn a section down in between. GN also had built a two track run through shop that could handle servicing of several consists at a time. When Northtown opened its new hump yard, it featured a larger version of the GN styled shop and Harrison St. was sold to C&NW. The run through shed is now home to MILW 261 4-8-4. BN 818 was built in October 1954 as NP 7004D.
