| CN hadn't run anything on the Cedar Rapids Branch since 12/23. After a couple days of heavy wind and some snow from the last storm, the branch was drifted in pretty good in spots. An extra crew was sent out of Waterloo with a wedge plow and the CN 5421 to open the line back up. Here the job coast downgrade out of Coggon with plenty of battle wounds. Few more areas to hit and then the line will be open again for the local. |
