New York City Transit Authority (NYCTA) R179 no. 3177 (Bombardier, 2016-2019) is the lead motor on an uptown C train seen stopped at 103rd St Station on the IND 8th Avenue Line. Beyond the train is an open area amongst the steel framework of the line; the uptown express track has moved over and descended as the structure transitions from 2x2 stacked tunnels to 1x4 adjacent tunnels. |
