VR Sr2 3209 lifted up for a bogie change on the side of Seinäjoki yard. The tempature was nearly -20°C (-4°F), but that didn't stop the work.
The locomotive suffered a bearing failure on 16th of february with Helsinki - Oulu intercity service IC 51 some 15 kilometers (roughly 9 miles) south of Seinäjoki station. The passengers were moved over to another train and the passenger cars were moved empty to VR Oulu depot, but the locomotive was moved overnight on help bogies to Seinäjoki with a top speed of 5km/h (3mph).
