Amtrak Train 95, a southbound Northeast Direct train heading from Boston MA to Norfolk VA, is 11 minutes late as it approaches the station in Old Saybrook CT amid some morning snow flurries. Coincidently, this is the same locomotive that was on my train out of New York’s Pennsylvania Station heading for New Haven CT on my way to Springfield MA four days earlier! (Old Saybrook, Connecticut – January 31,2023). Fun Fact: I am posting this photo from aboard train 95 as I travel from OLD Saybrook to NEW Carrollton. (Is this fact really all that much fun, though?)
