Remarks & Notes
When this unit was first painted by GWI, it was given an Atlantic & Western logo on the long hood and renumbered from SCRF 2027 to ATW 1603. I shot a picture of her in the Sputh Carolina Central RR yard sporting those ATW decals. Then, they went back and took the ATW decals off and replaced the ones on the long hood sides with South Carolina Central decals as you see here on this shot from July 16, 2013. I do not believe they put a logo on the front of the locomotive. Then, inexplicably, they moved her to the Atlantic & Western where she has remained since then, although I understand she may have been retired from service. The last photograph I have seen from this locomotive in from 2019 when she retains her SCC logo on the long hood. She was formerly SCRF 2027 and wore a snazzy blue paint scheme.
