| CSX M582-05 (Hamlet,NC-Nashville,TN) is tied down on the No 1 trk at the steps at Lookout waiting for n outbound crew to go on duty to get the train into Wauhatchie to work. With no surprise and in CSX fashion the power desk hasn't even pulled No 4568 out of service to get a replacement number board, and to get the fuel gauge repaired. What could only make the situation even more comical is when the outbound crew boarded the train they discovered that the lead motor was out of fuel. so with only one motor online the crew of M582 limps the train into the yard where they had to pick up M584 power and utilized it to get the freight to Nashville. |
