The first Amtrak train 4 of the new year makes the first stop of its journey. Just a few miles out of Los Angeles, Amtrak P42DCs 206 and 131 are pulling six cars (39038, 23086, 38048, 33009, 34109 and 31018). This Southwest Chief will continue its journey within minutes and roll into Chicago on January 3. (Fullerton, California – January 1, 2023)
