Running southbound on Colorado’s Joint Line is a brand-new Burlington Northern Santa Fe EMD SD70MAC No. 9840 making its first revenue run at Greenland on a cold December 11, 1997. Interesting to ponder that orange paint was pretty rare at this point in BNSF’s history.
