Central Hudson. Amtrak Train 291 (Ethan Allen) was a sunset arrival into Hudson, New York on Wednesday, December 28, 2022 with AMTK 702 leading (P32AC-DM, Phase III, GE). The vintage New York Central Station is still used by passengers today, the former engine house in the background on the wye of CSX's Claverack Industrial Track is today an event venue. The City of Hudson is undergoing a significant renovation, including the recent upgrades in the tracks and platform at this station, while making sure that it respects the history of this long time industrial center.
