Portland Traction Co. SW1 number 100 a.k.a. "The Most Famous Diesel in the Northwest". Reckon that might be so, but that other locomotive behind it, the 1127 I think, well it's big in South Portland. Between the two locomotives is the 6% grade section of the former Portland Traction Company mainline. This track meets with the Union Pacific near the Oregon Rail Heritage Center close to downtown Portland.
