Remarks & Notes
A Pair Of Fraternal Twins. BNSF 6890 (GE ES44C4) & 7214 (ES44DC) were stopped at Whately, Montana when Webb Rail's former Northern Pacific Railway Budd built Pullman dome car 313 (WEBX 801044) and former Northern Pacific Railway Budd built dome 549 (WEBX 801045) on the rear of Amtrak Train 7 (Empire Builder) on August 2, 2021. Northern Pacific would become part of Burlington Northern in 1970 and BNSF in 1996, so sort of like grandparent and grandchild twins too. December 18 is "National Twin" day, so if you're a twin, we were thinking of you today! More on Webb Rail's fleet at www.webbrail.com
